Protect Your Licence – What
Everybody Ought To Know
Yes these step by step instructions on what to do when caught speeding, flashed by a camera, or simply pulled over by the police can literally safeguard your licence from underhand tactics – in other words give you a chance to fight back!
Proven Tips, Tools and Tactics
To Avoid Loosing Your Licence
Just imagine, you decide to nip down to the shops for a bottle of milk and a bar of chocolate. You take the car to save your legs, and proceed to the shops while minding your own business, watching where you are going, being courteous to other road users and… two weeks later you receive a brown envelope in the post informing you that you strayed over the 30mph speed limit 4 times on that journey to the shops, then… you get a funny feeling in your stomach, you’ve horrified when you realise that that journey has cost you your licence.
Not only that, but you’ll also have to fork out £240.00 in fines as well. You complain bitterly that it’s`day`light robbery, and then you start to think, how are you going to get about your daily business, what about the kids being taken and collected from school, what about the weekly shop at the supermarket, your elderly relatives that rely on your weekly visits – all these everyday journeys will now be extremely affected from that harmless journey to the shop.
We Are Not Talking About The Idiots
Now, please don’t get me wrong, I’m not condoning speeding like the idiots who think it is clever to travel at 60mph through a local town, they deserve all that they get… and more, road safety is very important. The problem is, everyone is fair game to the Police, and the sneaky tricks that they use nowadays are completely unfair.
They don’t distinguish between someone who’s been driving for 20 odd years without a single accident, not even a close miss, with the idiot 17`year`old and his mates flying around the streets at horrendous speeds.
It is simply daylight robbery. The problem is we are all a soft target. Much easier to catch a motorist who’ll pay up, than say burglar Bill, or anti social Alan… and we motorists do wonders for the regional Police forces arrest figures.
The speeding fines are a fantastic way of generating revenue for the government… and most of us seem to accept this situation without question.
Let’s Fight Back!
But not anymore. Ever since I was given 3 penalty points and a £60 ticket for driving 32mph one evening at 10.15pm by a Gatso that had recently been installed on a road which to my knowledge had never had a fatality, plus it was sited on a bend, behind a tree, I decided that enough is enough, there must be something we can do.
So, I asked around a few of my friends to see if they had any ideas on what to do, and I eventually meet a gentleman who felt exactly the same about the whole safety camera issue like I did.
In fact he’d spent the past two years looking for all the loopholes in the law that are available to the honest motorist, who occasionally creeps over the speed limit.
The Protect Your Driving Licence Handbook is the result of all his knowledge and information that he’s compiled over the years. In fact, it is so helpful to motorists, that the local Police take a keen interest in him. Why? Because they know that his information will actually give us hard working motorists a chance to fight back.
For example, when you are stopped for a speeding offence, dangerous driving, careless driving, failing to conform to traffic lights, failing to conform to stop signs, continuous white lines in the middle of the road and other mandatory road signs, the officer must say certain words to you. If he fails to do so, or doesn’t quote them correctly, then you can’t be prosecuted. You’ll learn all about this on page 2.
The information contained within the Protect Your Driving Licence Handbook covers more or less every situation you may encounter that could put your licence … and your wallet at risk.
The Thrill of the Chase, a Driver’s Guide to Fine Refusal
Today’s society has freed up people from many of the concerns faced in the past, doubtless, medicine, transport and general public knowledge have all by and large, moved toward a more desirable point, regardless of the words of some pessimistic skeptics. However, these new developments often left humans with increased responsibilities; cavemen had very few worries about the mortgage on their plot of land, for example. One of these many such responsibilities come of age when one may apply for their driver’s license. While tests and evaluations are often overblown in their purported difficulty by the public consciousness, the true test of driving is not merely passing the test to obtain the license, but rather comes with attempting to maintain that license in good standing.
This is a task that has become increasingly difficult to achieve as the same advancement in technology that brought us the automobile to begin with marches mercilessly onward, providing law enforcement with more and more methods to catch all sorts of traffic offenders by the day. In many cases the violations are minor, most posing absolutely no danger to other vehicles or pedestrians, being merely formalities. Regardless of the severity of the offense, it is not beyond the local department to issue citations and even tickets for completely harmless and innocent oversights or judgments. In many cases the argument ends up boiling down to a simplified metaphorical questions: “Should it be legal to run a stop sign should one happen upon it in the middle of the countryside?” for example. Regardless of the individual drivers’ beliefs on the matter, however, the fines levied against them are often much less forgiving than the philosophical quandary itself.
With enough of these even minor violations, one could quickly be without a license, however. Without a license, many are left in the lurch, requiring constant travel or long distance commuting; should they be rendered car-less, these individuals in particular would be without not only transportation, but possibly their job and work prospects as well. Thankfully, Inspired2Change, a company set up to help customers improve and enrich their daily lives has recently released a guide on helping out should you ever find yourself pulled over and can’t afford the ticket. The guide provides only simple, effective tips, no trickery, and no vague unhelpful advice. While road safety is very important, and reckless driving costs countless lives every year, sometimes the situation simply does not warrant such heavy fines when viewed objectively, and it is for those times that this guide was published. In many cases the small pieces of knowledge within can exempt you from prosecution completely, based only on the wording of your conversation with an officer after a stop, that simple. So why wait and fret over your license when you can avoid tickets and penalty points today?
